CCTV appeal following the theft of a purse

Officers investigating the theft of a purse in Rickmansworth have released two images of a woman they would like to speak to as part of their enquiries.

It happened at Waitrose in the town between 2.30pm and 2.45pm on Friday February 1.

The victim, a woman in her 60s, was in the shop when she realised her purse was missing before reporting it to police.

PCSO Alan Waller, from the Rickmansworth Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “Do you recognise the woman pictured? We are keen to identify her and speak to her as we believe she may have information that could help progress our investigation.”
