The Chorleywood Classic & Car Show is back next month and is aiming to be bigger and better than previous years.
The day, which is loved by all, is renowned for raising amazing amounts of money for chosen charities which is collectively sitting on the £46,000 mark.
Alongside the fantastic variety of cars on show, there will be live music from a jazz band and a band from a local school, excellent food, drinks and much more.
This year’s event will be again raising money for Peace Hospice Care and the Chorleywood youth Football Club for providing their fields for the event.
Guy explained the choice behind the charity: “My daughter was a hospice nurse at Peace and she was there for a long time so I wanted to recognise them for the amazing and very difficult job they do. It is amazing. They look after a lot of people throughout the year which isn’t easy.”
Guy believes the £50,000 mark will be met and is aiming to go one step further and raise £10,000 on the day.
With pay-what-you-want entry, Guy wanted to thank everyone who has been before and will come to the event on Sunday, July 14 for the generous donations.
The day will be held on the football pitches used by Chorleywood Common Youth Football Club from 10am to 4pm.
