Police were called at around 1.10pm yesterday (Friday, October 22) to reports of a collision on the A41 bypass, between Tring and Berkhamsted.
One vehicle was involved, a black Ford Fiesta, which had collided with some roadside furniture.
The fire service and ambulance service were also called to the scene.
The road was closed to allow emergency services access, and for vehicle recovery.
One person was taken to hospital for treatment.
The road was reopened just after 3.30pm.
