A 12-year-old boy was involved in a car collision in Rickmansworth yesterday (Tuesday, February 22) and taken to hospital with a suspected broken arm.
Emergency services including Police, Ambulance and Air Ambulance attended the scene on Northway in Rickmansworth and the boy was taken to Watford General Hospital yesterday evening at around 5pm.
A spokesperson for East of England Ambulance Service told MyLocalNews: “We were called to Northway at around 4.15pm yesterday following reports of a collision. An ambulance and the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance attended.
“Crews treated a male patient at the scene before transporting him by road to Watford General Hospital for further assessment and care.”
Hertfordshire Police said: “We were called at 3.45pm on February 22 to reports of a collision in Northway, Rickmansworth, involving a pedestrian and a vehicle.
“The pedestrian, a 12-year-old boy, was taken to hospital by land ambulance, having sustained a suspected broken arm. The air ambulance also attended as a precaution.”
