On October 16, offers at Three Rivers Operation Scorpion broke into an address at Moor Park and uncovered a makeshift cannabis factory worth an estimated £200, 000.
Pictures taken at the crime scene reveal that criminals were growing cannabis using sophisticated greenhouse techniques. Alongside rows and rows of cannabis, officers found harvested buds, fertiliser, growing equipment and overhead heaters.
Police entered the property following fast-time intelligence built up by the Oxhey Safer Neighbourhood Team and Team C Intervention the night before.
A team of largely plain-clothed officers, Operation Scorpion targets burglars, robbers and those involved in drug and vehicle crime around the borough.
Officers are continuing to investigate the people behind the factory.
