A local women’s football team is looking to recruit more players following years of success.
Dawn Allwood founded Headstone Manor Ladies (HML) FC in 2007. Since then, the club have provided football for more than 300 female players.
HML FC won their first piece of silverware in the 2018-19 season with their victory in the Greater London Women’s Football League Trophy. They were promoted to the Premier Division at the end of the 2020-21 season.
Now, the team is looking for more players to continue its success. The players train on Thursday evenings at Bannister Outdoor Sports Centre and compete on Sunday afternoons. To find out more, email headstoneladies@oulook.com
