Love Island fans were left stunned as the Buddha from Bushey Eyal Booker became the latest contestant along with Zara McDermott to be dumped from the villa.
Caroline Flack arrived to deliver the result of the public vote to the shocked romantics.
Tears were shed as it was revealed Eyal would be heading home.
Speaking to the camera after packing his bags, Eyal confessed he was “gutted to be leaving”, adding that “life goes on”.
Eyal caused a stir since his arrival on the island, and his family allegedly received death threats following his behaviour on the show.
He kissed fellow contestant Megan Barton Hanson in front of one of her admirers, Alex George, before choosing to go with the Buddha in a recoupling.
His brother Ariel confessed to radio station Heart FM that they had received a flurry of threats from trolls, saying: “It was a huge shock for me because it’s entertainment, so to threaten our family over it is very absurd.”
