Chorleywood charity Mission EmployAble has been given access for just one afternoon to the ancient Crosslane Wood, so that families, individuals, children and grandparents can admire its stunning bluebells.
People of all ages have the chance to explore the magnificent bluebell woods – on Burtons Lane – that have never before been open to the public.
The event is set to take place on Sunday, May 2 from 1pm-4pm.
The Bluebell Walk makes a lovely outing for the whole family, including the dog.
Visitors will be able to wander along a marked path in the woods and buy teas, homemade cakes and soft drinks from a pop-up woodland café.
All proceeds from the day go to Mission EmployAble, which is raising money, with Chorleywood Cricket Club, for a new pavilion and training café for young adults with learning disabilities, on Chorleywood Common.
Tickets: £20 family ticket, £8 adult, £5 concessions and over 60s. Free for under 10s.
Free parking and disabled access will both be signposted.
Dogs must be kept on a lead.
