Hundreds of cyclists flocked to Gadebridge Park in Hemel Hempstead for round five of the 2023 Central Cyclocross League.
On Sunday, October 15, 320 competitors of all ages and standards took on the challenging hillside course.
Close-fought racing was seen throughout the day and the course design and location received many positive comments.
The race organisers said: “It is great for the club and for the town to be able to run such a successful and high-profile event.
“Numbers of entries were up on previous years with more than 330 riders, which demonstrates the interest in the sport at the current time.”
Money from the event will be donated to a local charity, which will be decided at the next committee meeting. Previous donations have gone to The Collett School and Essex & Herts Air Ambulance.
