Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a road traffic collision which saw a motorbike hit a pedestrian in Watford.
The incident occurred at around 10.15am on Monday, December 30, on Beechen Grove and involved a Yamaha motorbike and a pedestrian. The pedestrian, a 25-year-old woman, was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.
The rider of the motorbike, a 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or who has dash cam or CCTV footage which may be of assistance to contact them.
