Residents reported seeing multiple emergency services near Sainsbury’s and Iceland at the top of Watford High Street yesterday evening (Tuesday, February 25).
Around three fire engines, six ambulances, and a number of police cars were seen at the scene.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police confirmed: “Police were called just after 6pm on Tuesday, February 25, to report concern for the welfare of a young person in Watford town centre.
“Officers attended The Parade alongside colleagues from both the ambulance and fire services, and the young person was successfully located and safeguarded.
“The incident was concluded by 10pm.”
