It has been reported that a 45-year-old man who admitted to taking explicit photos of a 16-year-old during sexual activity has received a suspended sentence.
Alan Parsons, of Lower High Street, Watford, appeared at St Albans Crown Court on Friday, September 12, where he was given a two-year sentence, suspended for two years, along with 30 days of rehabilitation activity.
The sentencing followed his guilty plea to three counts of taking indecent images of a child.
Judge Johnson explained that the sentence was suspended because the case had to be considered on a “very specific basis” due to the circumstances in which it was brought before the court.
