BREAKING NEWS: Man charged after jewellery allegedly taken in Hemel Hempstead burglary

A man has been charged in connection with a burglary where jewellery items were alleged to have been taken before being recovered in Hemel Hempstead.

Skip Grant, aged 45, of Hobletts Road, Hemel Hempstead, was charged with burglary and appeared before Hatfield Remand Court today (Friday, March 7). He was remanded into custody ahead of his next court hearing on Tuesday, April 8.

Police were called shortly before 7.40pm on Wednesday, March 5, to report suspicious activity at an address in Great Road.

Officers attended and carried out a search of the area, detaining a man a short time later.

Further enquiries are being carried out by detectives from the Dacorum Local Crime Unit.
