Officers investigating an incident in Watford involving a firearm have made an arrest.
Police were called just before 4pm on Wednesday, July 10, to reports of an altercation outside the railway station in the High Street.
It was reported that shots were fired towards a victim who was sat on a bench. The victim, a man aged in his 20s, was then struck to the head with an object believed to be a firearm, causing a minor injury. The two suspects then left the scene on an e-bike.
Following numerous enquiries, a 20-year-old man was arrested on Monday, October 28, on suspicion of attempted murder. He was released on police bail whilst enquiries continue.
