While many seats have turned red in Labour’s landslide victory, South West Herts has re-elected Conservative candidate Gagan Mohindra.
Gagan Mohindra MP won with 16, 458 votes meanwhile Liberal Democrat Sally Symington came second with 12,002.
Labour’s Alex Sufit came third with 9,637.
The seat was a hotly contested one with a whopping nine different candidates vying for the seat.
The result also defied the exit poll which predicted a close call between Conservative and Labour in the constituency.
