A second fatality has been confirmed this morning (Tuesday, February 6) after a van fleeing police was involved in a collision on the M25.
The motorway was closed between London Colney and St Albans on Sunday, February 4.
Police officers had been involved in a pursuit of a van which then collided with three other vehicles.
On Sunday, police announced that a woman had sadly passed away, and this morning, they confirmed that a man also died in the collision.
Police also stated that no police vehicles were involved in the crash, and the pursuit of the van had been stood down prior to the collision.
A man in his twenties has now been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
