A man in his 90s has been taken to hospital as a precaution after a vehicle collided with a lamppost in Hemel Hempstead.
The incident took place on the roundabout between Breakspear Way and St Albans Road.
Police were called at around 7.15am today (Wednesday, January 29) to the incident which involved one vehicle, a silver Seat Leon, which collided with a lamppost.
The East of England Ambulance Service also attended the scene.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called just before 7.15am with reports of a road traffic collision on the roundabout at Maylands Avenue and St Albans Road.
“An ambulance and a rapid response vehicle were sent to the scene. One patient, an adult male, was transported to Watford General Hospital for further care.”
There are no road closures in place, but traffic is being managed by police officers whilst they await recovery to be completed.
