A new sustainable coffee shop offering speciality coffee alongside affordable art is coming to Radlett village this month.
The coffee house supplying locally sourced food and produce, called Brass Monkey, is set to open on Watling Street in mid-March, providing the community with top quality speciality coffee, food and drink in a relaxed, rustic environment with art and music.
Radlett resident, Warren Lipman, was inspired to open his own coffee ‘hang out’ after his Espresso machine broke at home and he found there was no independent coffee shop in the village to get an excellent cup of coffee.
Warren told RadlettNews: “Coffee and art are two of my biggest passions. We offer locally sourced food and have a big focus on sustainability. The shop will have no plastics to help the environment and to reduce our carbon footprint and will be offering cost incentives for customers who use reusable cups. We are very much for the community – using local sources, employing local people, and supporting local artists.”
He added that he is excited to open the doors of Brass Monkey to the community, showcasing art, providing excellent food, drink and service, whilst having fun.
