Residents will be delighted to hear that the much-loved St Albans Beer & Cider Festival will be returning for its 28th edition later this year.
The beloved event will take place once again at the Alban Arena from Wednesday, September 24, to Saturday, September 27.
Attendees can expect hundreds of cask ales, craft beers, international brews, ciders, perries, wine and spirits, as well as a huge range of street food. Alongside this, there will be live music acts, nightly music bingo, festival games, and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.
Each year, the festival logo celebrates a piece of local history, and this year is no different. The logo for 2025 marks the centenary of the Ballito Hosiery Mill, which employed hundreds of local women in the mid-20th century and had a major impact on the city of St Albans.
St Albans Beer & Cider Festival is a non-profit making event, organised and staffed by volunteers, and all proceeds go towards campaigning and local charities.
