A popular author whose work has sold nearly two million copies will visit Pinner this month, as part of National Crime Reading Month.

Leigh Russell, author of the best-selling Geraldine Steel series, will visit Pinner Library at 2pm on Tuesday, June 20, to answer residents’ questions and sign books.

Leigh told PINNERnews: “I’m really looking forward to visiting Pinner Library and hope to see many local residents there. I’ll be talking about my writing career, my detective series which has sold nearly two million books, and discussing the appeal of fiction in general.

“I’ll be touching on many aspects of writing, including research, and the rescue puppy who inspired my cosy crime series. Hopefully, there will be lots of questions from the audience as well.”

Leigh is currently writing the 21st novel in the popular Geraldine Steel series, alongside the Poppy Mystery Tales, a new series set in an idyllic English village.
