Garston residents expressed their concerns on social media after a woman was robbed while withdrawing cash.
A woman aged in her 50s was withdrawing cash from an ATM when a man approached her and stole £30 cash from the machine as it was ejected.
The incident occurred in Garston Park Parade just before midday on Tuesday November 17.
He barged past the woman when robbing her and made off towards Garston Lane.
A resident took to social media to warn the community about the incident and said: “A man ran past and grabbed her money and ran off toward the avenues.
“She was screaming and shouting and a few citizens ran after him. The police turned up shortly after. Just watch yourselves people.
“This was at about 11am in broad daylight and loads of people around, be careful and be safe. Watch your back at all times.”
Police are currently investigating the robbery and enquiries are continuing at this time.
