An air ambulance was recently called to Croxley Green following an incident that took place nearby.
The Essex & Herts air ambulance was called to Cherwell Close on Tuesday, September 22, at around 4:30pm after two elderly ladies were injured as they fell whilst trying to cross the road.
Both ladies were taken to Watford General Hospital to have their injuries checked out.
A statement from Herts Police said: “Police were called shortly after 4.30pm on Tuesday 22 September following an incident in Cherwell Close, Croxley Green.
“It was reported that two elderly ladies were linking arms to cross the road together when they fell.
“Officers attended, alongside the ambulance service – including the air ambulance.
“The women were taken to Watford General Hospital to have their injuries assessed.”
