A Northwood school has been shortlisted for the Independent Schools of the Year 2023 awards.
Run by the Independent School Parent magazine and now in its sixth year, the awards seek to celebrate the “life-affirming, life-enhancing benefits” which an independent education can deliver to students, and to highlight the contribution schools make to the wider community.
Northwood College for Girls has been named on the shortlist for the second year running.
A spokesperson for the college said: “The end of the academic year is always a time to reflect on how we have brought to life our core values; from igniting curiosity and challenging and building resilience, to acting with compassion and integrity, and fostering joy.
“We want to extend a huge thank you to our students, staff, and wider NWC family. Without their outstanding dedication and commitment to our community, this achievement wouldn’t have been possible.”
The finalists will be announced on September 6 and the winners will be revealed at an awards ceremony in central London in October.
