Stanmore Bowls Club will open for the five-month summer season on May 1, within the rules for COVID-19 safety.
The club welcomes new members and will hold an Open Day on Sunday, May 23 from 10am to 4pm, so if you want a trial, you are welcome to come along.
If successful, free coaching will be arranged. Entry is via the Dennis Lane Car Park entrance to Stanmore Recreation Ground and they will provide the equipment.

Last year, members enjoyed the outdoor activity and the company of fellow members, in a reduced length season.
In March 2020, they completed a pavilion extension, but the grand opening by the Mayor in May was then cancelled. This year, they expect to use the building with all its new facilities as lockdown relaxes.
