Pinner Hill Golf Club were awarded the title as Middlesex County Club of the Year award at the end of February at the Middlesex Annual Awards night.

The club, who achieved the same feat back in 2017, were present at the awards night on February 29 and were also pleased to hear that their steward, Graham Arnold, won the individual prize of Steward of the Year.

Proud chairman, Henri Henriques said: “On Saturday night, 32 of us went up town for the awards ceremony and Pinner Hill were awarded Middlesex County Club of the year and Graham Arnold, Steward of the Year. A fantastic result for our club and we should all feel very proud.”

The golf club is temporarily closed due to the coronavirus pandemic and have asked for member’s support during the crisis.

A statement on their website read: “Clubs and courses around the country have been asked to close and their finances will come under extreme pressure, and some may not survive.

“Your club needs your support. If you have the means to pay your fees in a timely manner, or in any manner possible, this will increase the likelihood that you will have a club to return to and a golf course that is ready to play on.”
