The head chef at Bushey House has won the Barchester National Award after he was nominated by residents for his delicious meals and excellent presentation.
The awards are held every year to show their staff the recognition for all their hard work and dedication, and Bushey House’s Avni Fejzullau was successful in the virtual ceremony that was held on October 8.
On receiving his award, Avni said: “Thank you to Barchester for giving me the opportunity of being entered and winning this award. I would also like to thank all the staff at Bushey House for their help and support but most importantly I would like to thank my team in the kitchen for always being there and helping.”
Acting general manager Amy Higham also praised Avni, she said: “We are all really proud of Avni and pleased that he is working here with us at Bushey House. Avni runs a brilliant team in the kitchen and deserves this award. A big well done.”
