Suzanne Anisfeld has released her second book in September.
The Radlett- based author released Bridge over doubled water after the success of her first book All Hands on Deck: Tales from the Table.
Both books are anecdotal true stories based on Suzanne’s love of the game of bridge. Speaking to Bushey&Radlett News, Suzanne said: “When I wrote my first book, all the chapters were titled with bridge related terminology and my brother had questioned why I didn’t use the bridge bidding sequence for it. Obviously, it was too late as my book had already been published. But this gave me the idea for a new book.
“Chaptered from 1 club all the way to 7 no trumps (35 chapters) and within each chapter, I have shared a hand of bridge that I have played in the contract with the relevant chapter name. It has taken me over 3 years to collate these hands.”
