A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a woman was stabbed in Rickmansworth yesterday evening (Monday, September 6).
Police were called to an incident on Church Street, near the Premier Inn Hotel, just after 6pm.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police said: “Officers attended and located a woman with a stab wound to her back. The woman was taken to hospital by ambulance. Her injury is not believed to be life threatening or life changing.”
A 27-year-old man from London has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and currently remains in police custody. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 101 quoting ISR 635 of September 6.
