Published on: 4th October 2019   |   By: Jake Levison   |   Category: Uncategorized

Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault on a schoolgirl whilst she walked to school.

On Friday, September 27, an 11-year-old girl was attacked on Bottrells Lane in Chalfont St Giles between 8am and 8.20am.

Thankfully the victim was not injured, and officers confirm an individual has been arrested.

They have been released under investigation whilst enquiries are ongoing.

Police are appealing for witnesses who may have been in the area at the time and particularly anyone who may have dashcam footage.

Contact Thames Valley Police by calling 101 quoting URN 265 27/09/19.

Speculation appeared on social media that the attack was an attempted abduction by two men in a car following letters from local schools were sent to parents.

However, Thames Valley Police told ChalfontNews they have no reports of such incident.
