Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a robbery in Watford. The incident occurred at the Londis convenience store on Queens Road between 5.25pm and 5.30pm on Thursday, May 14. Two men wearing hooded tops and face masks entered the shop, went behind the counter and demanded money before threatening staff with a knife. A quantity of cash was handed over and the men left the shop in the direction of Gladstone Road. Detective Sergeant Jo Goodson said: “This incident was obviously very distressing for the shop staff and we are keen to catch those responsible as soon as possible. “I am appealing for anyone who was in the store at the time and saw what happened to contact me as soon as possible.” Anyone with information is asked to contact DS Jo Goodson via the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference C1/15/2257.
