A school in Redbourn recently had the prestigious honour of hosting BBC Radio 4’s Any Questions? event.
St Luke’s School served as the venue for the popular question show this month, with Redbourn residents invited to attend and quiz the chosen panellists.
At the event organised by the Redbourn Community Group, panellists included Conservative MP Tom Pursglove, journalist Tim Stanley, Labour MP Emily Thornberry and Liberal Democrat MP Munira Wilson.
Residents were invited to ask questions on topics ranging from the COVID-19 pandemic, the channel crossing and even the panellists’ Christmas list.
Speaking to STALBANSnews, St Luke’s fundraising lead, Rhea Dickman, heralded the event a huge success.
She said: “When it got to the event I was literally like a child on Christmas Day.
“It’s so clever to see how they record it.
“Redbourn is quite a small village. It’s nice for them to choose us and want to come to Redbourn. There was a couple of parents there, residents and a couple of staff members as well.
“It was a nice mix of people of all ages, the youngest person there was about 10 years old.”
