A teenage boy has been left seriously injured after he was stabbed in Croxley Green late last night (Friday, February 7).
Police are appealing for witnesses after the teenage boy was seriously injured with what is believed to be a knife in Frankland Road at 11.30pm – it was the second local serious assault in mere hours, as a teenager was airlifted to hospital from Watford High Street earlier in the evening.
There is currently no suggestion that these incidents are linked.
The victim and suspect are known to each other in the Croxley assault and police are in the process of trying to trace the suspect.
Frankland Road and other local roads have been closed past the junction with Nutfield Close.
Three Rivers Police commented: “This is a very unusual incident in Croxley Green. Especially trained officers are supporting the victim’s family.
“Anyone who saw what happened and has not already spoken to police is asked to call 101 quoting reference 926 of February 7.”
