AMAZING ADAM: Bushey man takes on Great Wall trek for charity

Published on: 17th April 2026   |   By: The Newsdesk   |   Category: Uncategorized

A Bushey man has completed a fundraising trek along the Great Wall of China in support of Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care.

Adam Ginder took on the challenge to raise money for the charity, which provides specialist care and support for adults and children with life-limiting illnesses across Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

Describing the experience as “a phenomenal trip,” Adam said the opportunity allowed him to push himself beyond his comfort zone while supporting a cause close to his heart.

He said: “For many years I have supported the hospice both personally and professionally, but I have never done anything like this.

“Training, travelling and trekking is outside my comfort zone, but the chance to help the hospice made me take that step.”

Adam funded his own travel costs, meaning all donations will go directly to the charity.

He has so far raised £10,225 as donations continue to pour in, surpassing his initial goal of £10,000.

Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care offers free, specialist and emotional support to patients and their families when it matters most.
