Multi-award winning estate agents Gibbs Gillespie’s new look website has received almost instant industry recognition by being shortlisted for a national award. The company which has 11 offices covering Middlesex, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire, spent six months designing, constructing and fine tuning the site which officially went live in August. A leading estate agency magazine, The Negotiator, has named the site in its shortlist for Website of the Year. With a sleek new design, mobile and tablet friendly emphasis, and helpful content the agency is aiming to make buying, selling or renting a property as easy as a few clicks. The agency’s co-founder Paul Gillespie said: “We are delighted to get recognition so soon after launching the site. The awards feature some of the biggest national names in the industry so to go toe to toe with these companies shows how good our website is. “We believe we’ve created an industry leading website. It looks good, is easy to navigate around and also offers lots of useful information such as guides to buying, letting or selling a property. “It even offers an Ask the Expert facility where you can ask questions to our professional team while you look at the site. “People can view our testimonials, arrange free valuations to find out how much their home is worth and landlords can even set up accounts to keep track of their properties online. We’re very proud of the end results following months of hard work by our team and design company.” Other new features added to the site include newsletters, a careers at Gibbs Gillespie section, a mortgage advice section and access to the company’s Just Listed magazine. Gibbs Gillespie has also been shortlisted for Best Agency in the South East and Best Medium Sized Agency (between 4-11 offices). The award ceremony will be held in Park Lane, London, on November 3rd.
