Swap PE for a game of Topgolf

Published on: 9th April 2018   |   By: Amy Pollard   |   Category: Uncategorized

Topgolf is offering pupils across Hertfordshire the chance to test out their golfing skills by inviting schools in Watford to substitute their usual PE hour for a free game at Topgolf.

Open to all pupils in Year 6, Topgolf is encouraging a new generation to take up golf as it offers free sessions for the next month. Students will get the chance to play a game of golf and get hints and tips from Topgolf’s PGA-qualified golf coaches.

Adam Dukes, general manager at Topgolf, said: “We are really looking forward to offering Year 6s in the Watford area the chance to try their hand at golf. Who knows, we might have the next Rory McIlroy in our midst.

“Topgolf offers children the chance to interact with their class whilst learning a new sport and we hope to see many schools in the area take up this opportunity.”

For more information on the scheme, please contact Andrew Gibson on 01923 222045.
