Two long-standing Watford residents celebrated a special milestone last month, marking their 70th wedding anniversary.
Llew and Margaret Meredith have lived almost their entire lives in the town, born and raised in Watford and have both lived here since childhood.
The pair have marked many milestones in Watford, from being baptised and married in Stanborough Park Seventh-day Adventist Church, to recently marking their platinum anniversary after 70 years of marriage.
Llew and Margaret, who live near Cassiobury Park, received a special letter of congratulations and well wishes from Peter Taylor, Elected Mayor of Watford, to mark the occasion.
