A family from Pinner raised over £1,600 for charity last month by completing a 3,000 push-up challenge.
Two twin brothers Rahul and Aadi Patel, alongside their dad Rosh challenged themselves to complete 3,000 pushups throughout the month of November, to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT).
When Aadi and Rahul, Year 4 pipuls at St Martins School in Northwood, found out their dad was going to do the 3,000 pushup challenge, they wanted to join him to raise money for TCT as it’s a charity that is close to their heart, after losing a friend to cancer last year.
Rosh explained: “They quickly realised that they couldn’t quite manage 100 a day so they decided to share the load and do 50 push-ups each and every day they cheered each other to complete their target!. They did a great job and 6,000 push-ups later, Rosh and the boys raised over £1,800!”
The fundraising page is still open for donations here.
