WORD ON RANGERS: Bushey football club focus on year ahead

Published on: 30th December 2021   |   By: Jake Levison   |   Category: Uncategorized

The weather has unfortunately put paid to quite a few fixtures for Bushey Rangers teams at all levels during December, and with the pending Christmas and New Year break looming, the club’s thoughts have turned to the New Year.

With a host of Bushey Rangers teams in contention for honours in the New Year, 2022 will hopefully be another successful one on the pitch for the club.

The club are also monitoring recent COVID restrictions and what impact they could have on their annual 6 a-side tournament, which the club have had to cancel for the last two seasons.

The event, which is held in July, is a huge success, with around 100 youth teams entering every year for what has become a very well-known event in local football circles.

No decision will be made on the event until the New Year, with the club hopeful that it may be able to go ahead in some format.

Bushey Rangers would also like to wish all their players and members a merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

Saturday morning coaching continues at the Moatfield from 10am to 11.30am for four to nine-year-olds. The cost of these sessions is £2.
