Aldenham School enjoyed a great month of sport, as the U15 boys team secured their place in the Independent Schools Football Association (ISFA) final in their bid to retain the cup.

After beating Alleyn’s School 0-2 in the semi-final, the school will face Hampton School in the final at Burton Albion FC on Thursday, March 13.

The school has won three of the last five ISFA Cups. This year, the U12, U13 and U14 boys all reached the semi-final of the ISFA competition in a superb month of football for the school.

In more sporting success, Aldenham School’s VII netball team reached the Sisters n Sport Netball Vase final after beating KCS Wimbledon 44-28 on Wednesday, February 12. The finals will take place at Loughborough University in late March.

The Year 11 GCSE dance class were also treated to a choreography workshop, which helped to further the students’ learning.

In a post on Facebook, Aldenham School said: “The Year 11 GCSE dance class had a wonderful opportunity to work with Damian North, from Hot House Dance Company, for a choreography workshop in their double practical dance lesson.

“They worked on creating movement through a theme and developing movement into a dance.

“They really enjoyed the class and gained a lot from it.”
