The incident occurred between 2pm and 2.30pm on Saturday, January 24, on Leavesden Country Park College Road, north side, near to the tennis courts and a wooded area.

It is reported that the victim, a woman in her 40s, had been walking in the park with her daughter, when a dog described as a large, grey and white American Bulldog breed type, suddenly jumped up and bit her, causing abrasion and bruising.
