After launching as a new team at the beginning of the season, Everett Rovers Ladies FC have not only been promoted, but have also finished first in their league, with one game still to play.
Having taken on new players with all levels of experience, including those that hadn’t kicked a ball since school, the team have trained tirelessly all season to go 14 games unbeaten.
Everett Rovers Ladies FC is now looking to grow the squad by inviting anybody interested in playing, to join them for training on Tuesday evenings, whatever their ability. When the season begins in September, they will play on Sunday afternoons at their ground on Dodd Road, Watford, WD24 5FS.
Assistant Manager, Holly Worthington said: “I want to say a huge thank you to our sponsors, Heron Financial, who have supported us every step of the way and celebrated our successes with us.
“We wouldn’t have been able to manage what we’ve done without the incredible support from the club, our manager Andrew, our Captain Becks and every single member of the team. The only way is up… let’s see what Division 1 has in store for us!”
