WFC ROAD TO WEMBLEY: From the Caribbean to North West London

Published on: 14th May 2019   |   By: News Bulletin   |   Category: Watford FC

Andrew Needham’s love for the Hornets is seeing him travel from his Caribbean home to Wembley Stadium on May 18.

Andrew, who got tickets through the overseas ballot, has said he can’t wait to be at Wembley Stadium to see Troy Deeney lift the cup.

A fan for many years, Andrew was 13 in the ’84 final and was unable to attend that year but says there was no way he was missing out again.

Andrew said: “It’s a tough ask of course but it will be an incredible experience and worth flying back for 48 hours for regardless. Anything can happen in football. That’s why we love it so passionately.”

Andrew travels to England only a couple times a year and described it as a “rare treat” to see his team in action four times this season. Luckily, Andrew has seen some great wins including the 2-1 win against Tottenham and is hoping to see a historic win this month.

Andrew’s final words: “Up the Orns!”
