An award-winning comedian who is a rising star in the world of entertainment is to perform her new show about the dangers of repressing your anger at the upcoming Watford Fringe Festival.
Holly Hall will be presenting You Wouldn’t Like Me When I’m Angry at the Pump House Theatre at 5pm on Saturday, September 30.
Holly is an up-and-coming figure in comedy, having won the BBC New Comedy Award’s Digital Comedian of the Year prize in 2021. She has also written and starred in her own comedy short on BBC Three the same year, titled It’s What She Would Have Wanted.
Holly says: “The show explores our frustrating and sometimes hilarious inability to express our anger as we navigate the anxiety-ridden ups and downs of life. Expect unsupportive friendships, unhealthy work-life balances, and lots of helpful negative comments. You Wouldn’t Like Me When I’m Angry is a lesson in standing up for yourself, the dangers of repression, and ultimately boundaries; all lessons that have important real-life consequences.”
