Staff at Watford Colosseum are celebrating after they won a national award. Thursday October 2 saw Watford Colosseum play host to peers and colleagues from across the country from its sister venues under the HQ Theatres and Hospitality umbrella, including G Live in Guildford, Crewe Lyceum, the Palace and Cliffs Pavilion from Southend and the Wycombe Swan Theatre and Town Hall. In total 350 people attended the annual summit, to celebrate a successful year for the group and more importantly to focus on an exciting programme of activity planned for the 12 months ahead. An integral part of the summit was the Awards for Excellence, with a well deserved win for the home team who triumphed to win the Award for Excellence in Customer Service, recognising the commitment and dedication that the Colosseum and its staff demonstrate to a much valued, and diverse customer base. Tim Brinkman, Director of the Colosseum stated “I am immensely proud of the Colosseum and her staff. Many of the other directors are envious of the team we’ve got working here – and so they should be. This award, coming as it does from our peers, is especially important and appreciated, and shows what a strong venue we are building here in Watford”. Owned by Watford Borough Council Watford Colosseum is managed by HQ Theatres and Hospitality LTD, the UK’s second largest theatre operator. HQ Theatres and Hospitality LTD’s parent company is Qdos Entertainment, one of the UK’s biggest, broad-based entertainment groups in the UK
