If you’re a parent, you can probably understand how heartbreaking it is to watch your child play with the food that you’ve spent all afternoon preparing for them, only for it to land on the floor.
Children’s occupational therapist and founder of Magnificent Munchers Jacqueline recently moved to Abbots Langley. She aims to help parents whose children are on a limited diet or are fussy eaters.
She works with children who refuse to eat certain textures or categories of food, as well as those who cry or throw tantrums when presented with new food choices.
As a mother of two herself, she completed a training course about feeding difficulties after identifying the need for a service for children who will only eat a limited range of foods.
Jacqueline said: “I am very passionate about making food and mealtimes enjoyable by reducing food anxiety for both children and parents.
“I grew up in care and food was forced on me. I also had a premature baby who was tube fed and a fussy eater, so I know how traumatic and emotive food and mealtimes can be.”
