We may be used to seeing Justice Shadow Secretary Robert Jenrick MP on our TVs, but he recently made headlines for a different reason.
At the London Road car boot sale in Bushey on Sunday, November 16, Mr Jenrick MP was seen approaching sellers and claiming they were “suspected of selling stolen tools”.
In a video he shared on social media platform X, Mr Jenrick MP asks if the sellers are going to continue to sell stolen tools.
He shared: “I’ll stop when tradesmen are no longer losing their livelihoods.”
The police said: “Officers were deployed to the location, but on arrival, there were no offences present. Work has been carried out by specialist teams and officers are working towards identifying the individuals.
“Local officers are actively patrolling car boot sales and markets across the county but if you have any information in relation to this incident, please report this to police.”
