Talented young photographers explored the beauty of the place they call home for a recent competition.
Three Rivers Museum’s Summer Student Photographic Competition offered the chance to view the local area through the lenses of local young people
The prizegiving was held in Basing House on Saturday, November 15, where councillor Stephen King, chair of Three Rivers District Council, presented certificates and prizes to all the student contributors.
The two winners were Tommy Reid for the six to 14 age group for his photograph Lest We Forget, and Mabel Hamilton for the 15 to 18 age group with her photograph Grand Union Canal Lock.
The quality of entries was extremely high and the resulting exhibition of all the submitted images can be seen during opening hours at the museum.
