Rickmansworth School has been shortlisted for an awards ceremony dubbed the ‘Oscars of Education’ ahead of the school’s Platinum Jubilee next month.
Compiled by a panel of judges, the Tes Awards encompass 21 categories including awards for inclusivity and pupil mental health, both of which Rickmansworth School has been nominated for.
This is the third year in a row that Rickmansworth School has been nominated in the Tes Awards.
The overall winners will be announced on June 21 at a glittering awards night at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London.
Not long after the winners are announced, members of the school community will have the perfect chance to celebrate. To mark 70 years since the school’s founding, an expected 2,000 guests will attend a Party on the Hill on Saturday, July 6.
The event will see a range of live musicians, fairground rides, street food stalls and crafting opportunities, running from 11.30am until 4pm. Tickets are available at www.trybooking.com/uk/events/landing/48886
