Nick Hall Lazzerini, Principal of The Dan Tien Performing Arts Studios and Chipperfield resident has been crowned British Champion in the Hand Form at the National Tai Chi Quan Championships which were help in Hatfield earlier this month.
Nick performed the Chen Man Ching Style Form in front of a panel of judges who awarded him the highest mark in his category.
Nick, who is a popular local dance and drama teacher said: “It was my first competition, so I absolutely didn’t expect to place, let alone take home the gold medal.”
Nick teaches Tai Chi at The Dan Tien in Watford on a Tuesday evening from 7.30 – 8.30pm. Tai Chi is a fantastic form of exercise for all ages.
It’s a great way to unwind and relax and helps support well being as well as improving flexibility, coordination and balance.
