Elected Mayor of Watford, Peter Taylor visited Sushi No Mai in Watford Market to celebrate their ten years on Watford Market.
The Mayor and some of Watford’s Councillors were shown the kitchen area where all of the food is made and were then treated to samples of the delicious food on offer at the restaurant.
Elected Mayor of Watford, Peter Taylor said: “One of the things I enjoy most about my role is visiting businesses and meeting business owners who are based in Watford. I was honoured to visit Sushi No Mai to celebrate 10 years on Watford Market. I would like to congratulate Masumi Shimo on this achievement and wish the business a prosperous future in our town.”
Watford Borough Council supports businesses across the town, including helping over 1000 businesses access funding during the coronavirus pandemic and supporting young entrepreneurs through grants. In addition to this, nearly 90 businesses are taking part in a mentoring programme run by the council, focusing on adapting to a low carbon economy.
